2024 North Carolina State Fair

One of the most anticipated events in North Carolina is right around the corner! From the ocean to the mountains, people come from all across North Carolina to be a part of the N.C. State Fair. Filled with tradition and a love for our beloved state, the N.C. State Fair grows bigger every year with more guests who want to be a part of what makes our state so special.

From games, rides, and food, to agricultural shows and educational opportunities, the fun activities to partake in are endless at the state fair. One unique thing about our state fair, is that no year is the same as the last. Every year, new vendors and food arrive, ready to put a smile on someone’s face. This year, the N.C. State Fair will have a wide variety of new sweet treats to satisfy your sweet tooth:

  • White Chocolate Cranberry Cookie Dough on a Stick
  • Sweet Cheese Pie
  • Strawberry Lemonade Donuts
  • S’more Pizza Cone

Not a fan of sweets? Don’t worry, new state fair food vendors will have a wide variety of other foods to choose from:

  • Turducken Burger
  • Monster Tots
  • Loaded Bologna Fries
  • Mexican Street Corn Potato

The N.C. State Fair puts a huge emphasis on the importance of agriculture. No matter your background, attending our state fair will give you an educational perspective on agriculture and why it’s so important. The Southland Dairy Farmers’ Mobile Dairy Classroom teaches kids and adults more about dairy cows and where their milk comes from. The State Fair Ark features over 60 animals on display for fair attendees to learn more about animals and what role they play in agriculture.

Check out the Antique Farm Machinery exhibit near the Village of Yesteryear to look and learn more about the wide variety of tractors and farm equipment on display and experience first-hand what farming was like back in the early 1900’s.

Also located near the Village of Yesteryear will be Quality Equipment’s display of John Deere tractors! Stop by, take some pictures, and appreciate what these amazing machines do for farmers. We will have the following equipment on display:

With the N.C. State Fair growing rapidly in popularity, it’s important to know where to park, buy tickets, and know the fair schedule. Plan ahead now and enjoy our state fair to the fullest and explore what it has to offer! Below are the N.C. State Fair Hours:

  • October 17: 12PM-11PM
  • October 18-19: 9AM-12PM
  • October 20-24: 9AM-11PM
  • October 25-26: 9AM-12PM
  • October 27: 9AM-11PM
